The cellulose fibers that are used to make SMAT paper are from breeding trees (northern Europe) where deforestation is controlled.

This product material is therefore ‘green’ certified with FSC certification. The paper has been tested in line with Oeko Tex Standard 100, certified that it is safe for contact with human skin.

SMAT BLINK is made by hand crafted tanning with the use of metallized foild, it laminated with brilliant foil colours.

SMAT PATINA

SMAT PATINA: premium version of washable paper that has undergoes with aniline dye (adye that leaves the natural look and grain of leather in tact), allow to develop a nice patina, pull-up leather / grain leather effect.

These are literally processed in individual sheets just like individual skins of leather.

The manufacturer has received the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate – which is a symbol of the guarantee of testing textiles for the presence of harmful substances. It is published by the independent research institute OEKO-TEX®, which has professional laboratories around the world, in which detailed tests of textile products are carried out. The criteria for tests carried out by the OEKO-TEX® institute are the same all over the world, and certified products can be found more and more commonly in public sales.
